Alpine Retreats and Coaching Programmes

Mountain Leap not only organises ski weekends but our principals believe that the mountains are places perfect for enabling transformative change in individuals and groups.

To that end we offer a number or retreats for first timers or experienced retreat goers. Each retreat may include a number of alternative and mainstream activities:

  • Mountain pursuits such as snow shoeing, glacier walking, trekking and beginner-advanced rock climbing
  • Physical, emotional and spiritual activities including yoga, meditation, massage, reiki and aromatherapy
  • Coaching and facilitation to enable and encourage personal change and development 

We believe that when we engage ourselves in any processes that reconnnect us to our purpose, our personal sense of spirituality and extraordinary heart and body that carries us, extraordinary things can happen.

Mountains, the energy, challenge and space of higher places, along with a modest commitment of energy and enthusiasm given by each individual can leave a lasting impact often remaining with us long after we return to daily life.

The business of living is tough and especially in these times challenging. We emphasise the importance of allowing ourselves to take time to rebuild our energies in all areas of our lives. We can live healthier and happy lives if we address our body's physical needs,  our heart's emotional needs, our mind's intellectual needs and our soul's spiritual needs.

As we become aware of these needa and focus our attention upon them we can make small changes in our lives that bear extraordinary fruit in health, happiness and meaningfullness. Our commitment to you is that on our retreats, you will be looked after in a safe environment, but one in which you are encouraged to make steps address what is important to you in your life.

 

Mountain Retreats:

  • Reconnect with your body, mind and spirit at our 3, 5 or 7 day retreats
  • Experience a combination of alpine activities, yoga, meditation amidst the mountains
  • Nurturing, supportive and dedication to  bringing gentle change to life.
  • Each retreat will give participants plenty of time for rest, quiet reflection, massage and other treatments as required.

Refuge & Recovery

  • If you need a place of refuge from a difficult period or event, with emphasis on how to deal with sudden change or burnout from extended periods of stress and unmanageability
  • Themes include Reconnecting with life, dreams & spirit, the work I am meant to do, the life I am meant to lead
  • Along with a vision piece setting out your own individual awareness of your of the path you want to lead and how to return to joy in your life

Fitness & Body Breakouts:

  • Body awareness sessions
  • How to plan and keep to practicing healthy living
  • Maintaining or increasing energy and vitality
  • Managing stress, anxiety and reducing lethargy
  • Personal goal setting and moving beyond blocks   

Workshops and Coaching:

  • The workshop element of each retreat can be tailored to explore any specific issues that you would like to look at. 
  • Optional for one off or ongoing coaching, during or after each retreat with an accredited coach
  • Individual and group coaching sessions may be incorporated into each retreat

 

Our trainings and courses are tailor made to suit the client and we will consult with your learning and development executives to roll out courses and workshops that can first demonstrate what can be achieved, but then deliver that to your executives, staff or management, time after time.
