Ski Weekends in Italy

The 2006 Olympics, huge ski areas and great food. An excellent choice for a corporate ski weekend. The Italians take their skiing a little less seriously than some other countries blessed with Alpine terrain, but that doesn't mean there is a lack of choice or quality on offer.

There is quite a relaxed atmosphere in most Italian resorts with perfect piste grooming meaning that many of the slopes can be quite flattering to the beginner and intermediate skier. This means that for those short breaks, where mixed abilitty skiers will make up the party, it is possible to keep your group together and cruise the wide, gentle slopes set in beautiful scenery. That said, the Dolomites is one of the world's most extensive ski areas with an immense lift system, meaning a challenge can await any level of skier.
